Campaign: Kurio – Every kid can be a hero!

Playground: Karin van Zon (we love it when business and playground comes together)

Story – Message: We remember this project, like it was yesterday. Our valued partner Eldohm, owning and distributing some of the most famous and innovative toys, approached us for help with their Kurio brand campaign, celebrating their 10 year anniversary and re-launch. Two minor and challenging details: the brand video should include different messages for their specific target audiences in: kids (3-6 year) and caretakers (30-45 year), and it should be in line with the already worked out photo-campaign. Kurio, a trusted authority and market leader in the domain of kids tablets, is well-known for its safe and controllable environment. But, let’s be honest, even a 5-year old girl doesn’t think controllable and safe stuff looks cool.

Concept: The solution and concept finds its strength in a well-thought-out mixed media approach: video, frame-by-frame animation and motion-design. A real-life video approach, showing the parents the benefits and educational possibilities. Combined with an adventurous hero approach, using the wonderful world of child imagination and child-friendly design. Result: An interesting amalgamation of education, design, safety and child imagination. In every child, there is a bit of hero, some just need a little help to open the doors of imagination!

Mood: Imagination, happy, playful, colorful, fantasy, safety, spaceship, safari, kids, friendly, modern, toys, exciting, dream, mixed media.
